Job Descripion: Accounting Officer

As a Cashier at Floor & Decor, you are the first and last point of contact for customers. Your role involves delivering exceptional customer service, handling transactions, managing returns, performing basic cash office duties, and ensuring every customer has a great experience.

Essential Job Functions:

• Extend a friendly and supportive greeting to each individual.
• Interact with clients, inquire about their endeavors, and suggest suitable merchandise.
• Go the extra mile in providing exceptional customer service that surpasses expectations.
• It is crucial to abide by the safety protocols outlined by the company for the well-being of all employees.
• Abide by the core beliefs of the organization.
• Process sales and transactions effectively with the assistance of the POS system.
• Handle refunds and exchanges following the established company protocols.
• Engage and disengage cash registers.
• Adhere to the prescribed protocols for handling cash, checks, and credit card payments.
• Abide by the established protocols for telephone communication as outlined by the company.
• Manage, tag, and present products in the store.
• Formulate price tags and displays to highlight the cost and attributes of items in-store.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

• Participation is limited to individuals who are 18 years old and above.
• Basic numeracy skills are required.
• Background in customer service is a valuable asset for applicants.
• Preparedness to commute to different locations as necessary.

Physical/Sensory Requirements:

• Ability to exert:
• Periodically exerting a force within the range of 20-50 pounds is part of the task
• Persistent handling of items that do not surpass 10 pounds in weight
• Continual activity involving hands and fingers.
• From time to time, activities may entail standing, walking, reaching, climbing, maintaining balance, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
